    Temporary Road Works and Closures

    If you hadn't already noticed, there has been plenty of traffic lights in the village over the last few days. National Grid are completing extensive work to replace the old poles and cables that carry our electricity.

    It has been announced by Buckingham Palace that HM Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully this afternoon, 8th September 2022. The Parish Council and the people of Longdown and Holcombe Burnell are deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of Her Majesty.
